I created and designed a made-up brand/company inspired by a lucky cat statue.

The project entailed creating a brand identity from scratch, including a narrative, designing a logo, finding a typeface, exploring colour options, and sampling the logo on different items.

I created a geometric styled design that represented an emotion, using principles and elements of design.

My concept was to create a design that represented the emotion of joy. I chose colours that were bright and cheery. I designed the center geometric shape to resemble a candy wrapper, as candy can bring sweetness and joy.

I completed a project focused on visual design and creating a "how-to" infographic.

The goals of this project is to design and create an infographic for a particular object that can be shown to users on how to use it.

Using a portable watercolour kit I own, I demonstrate how it works and how to use it to users unfamiliar with it. through illustrations, text and photos.

I completed a project with a partner. Madison Brown and I coded and designed a prototype of an event guide app.

The app had to include features that helped with an impairment/disability.

The projects objective was to re-design the cover of an existing novel using rhetorical tropes.

My goal was to explore different novel titles, create sketches and designs with rhetorical tropes and themes from the novel, and create a final novel cover.

The second part of this project was to put this book into a 3D modelling software called Vectary which had the ability to showcase its models in AR.

I completed a project to re-design an already established company logo.

The goal of the project was to modernize and refresh the logo for Kawartha Dairy.

During my third year of University, I undertook an advanced course in foam model making.

The class was split into groups, each group acted as a design house and each member was given a product to redesign within their houses' design language.

I began perfecting my model making by making replicas of real products which were then inspected for accuracy. Throughout the project I created a large volume of foam models and mainly iterated my design through model making.

Once the aesthetic design was completed, I designed the product for manufacture; locating a split line, internal architecture, designing for injection moulding. Then finally, modelled the mouse digitally using SolidWorks.

ABOUT ME

BIO
I'm 21 years old, I've been attending Sheridan college for 3 years now. The program I am in has taught me a lot about what goes into being a UX and UI designer and developer. I have had to change my thinking and recognize details that can alter the way use a product or service. I've always been fascinated with why things worked the way they do and how some designs are considered good while others are bad. I am always willing to learn more about design and how to improve upon my current skills and abilities.
I'm inherently sociable, love meeting new people and thrive in a friendly workplace.
I'm driven; I always try to get the best out of anywhere I am or anything I am doing.
I love to explore Toronto for new stores and restaurants. I especially love thrifting and finding a new purpose for used items.
I am passionate about music. I love curating playlists for different moods and genres I am in the mood for. I find that music helps me stay focused and gives me the feeling of having my own soundtrack.
Design Philosophy
Design is a large part of my everyday life. Even before I was in the Interaction Design program, I understood that design can be subjective but still retain cohesiveness and purpose. Whether it is traditional art or product design, everything has a creative process.
Design has the ability to touch viewers’ hearts and minds. I design for users because I want to make an experience for them memorable and unique while also satisfying their core needs. As designers, we are telling a story through our designs. We create a narrative for brands, companies and products so users feel a connection to it.  
Goals
My current goal is to get a summer co-op internship for 2023. I hope to use that experience to learn as much as I can, and further my knowledge being a designer.
